Today is the WWE’s Hell in a Cell PPV. It has been 18 years since the first Hell in a Cell where Undertaker and Shawn Michales went to war with each other. Later tonight will be the last time The Undertaker ever steps foot in a Hell in a Cell and he is in for another war!
WWE Hell in a Cell Predictions:
Kickoff Match: Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville vs. Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett
This match is filling in for the Ambrose/Orton vs the Wyatts match. It also is a rematch from this past Monday Night Raw. It is a good opener for the preshow and could really set the pace for an awesome night. I expect a lot of high spots in this match.
Prediction: Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville.
WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Day(c) vs. The Dudley Boyz
The New Day are on fire at the moment. However in order for this feud to continue which it most definitely will all the way to the TLC PPV in December. The Dudleys need to win the titles. I think this match will have the fans going crazy and of course TABLES!!!
Prediction: The Dudley Boyz
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Ryback
Kevin Owens is just getting started in a long run as IC Champion. I expect a very physical, hard hitting brawl for this one. I don’t see any reason to take the title off Owens here.
Prediction: Kevin Owens
WWE United States Championship: John Cena (c) vs. TBD
I have heard a lot of predictions for this one. I’m not really sure who will accept the challenge but if I had to choose I would say; Dean Ambrose, Samoa Joe, or Tyler Breeze. Cena may be “booked” to defend his title in December at MSG but “the card is always subject to change” and with Cena taking a whole month off I am sure of one thing. Whomever does accept the challenge is going to be the new US Champion.
WWE Divas Championship: Charlotte (c) vs. Nikki Bella
The Divas Revolution is running wild and IMO The Bellas do not belong in the “Revolution”. I’m hoping Charlotte beats Nikki and then hopefully the Bellas disappear from TV for awhile. I can hope anyway.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Kane
If Demon Kane loses, Corporate Kane will be fired from his role as Director of Operations
Seth Rollins is the best heel the WWE has seen in quite awhile. I don’t see his title run coming to an end until closer to Wrestlemania. I am not a big Kane fan but I am really looking forward to this match. Rollins has proved time and time again he can have great matches with anyone. Kane really is going to have to bring it in this match if he wants to keep up with the champ.
Prediction: Seth Rollins
Hell in a Cell Match: Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt
This could steal the show. Although Bray has had that opportunity before and not came through. Since the Undertaker/Lesnar match will be a brawl inside the cell. I have a feeling this one will be all over the place. Also now that Ambrose and the other Wyatt family members are no longer on the card I expect to see them get involved in this match in some way shape or form. I am hoping for a “Slobber-Knocker” but only time will tell if they can live up to the hype.
Prediction: Roman Reigns
Hell in a Cell Match: The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman
13 years ago I witnessed these 2 monsters battle it out at Unforgiven 2002 at the Los Angeles Staples Center. Their first Hell in a Cell match would take place the next month at No Mercy. Well 13 years and 1 month I finally get to see the Hell in a Cell match in person and I can’t wait. I really don’t know what top expect from these two. This has the potential to be Match of the Year. There may be a lot of hype going into this match but with these two’s history how could there not be? If this is indeed the last time The Undertaker meets Brock Lesnar, then Lesnar has to WIN. If not the battle then he definitely needs to win the war. Either Lesnar will get a clean victory or Undertaker will cheat to win and then hopefully Lesnar will unleash beast mode and take Taker and everyone else to Suplex City.
Prediction: Brock Lesnar
